More than 700 km of cycling routes are available across the Gapençais area and the Hautes-Alpes. Come and explore winding, quiet roads, with mountain passes suitable for all levels — some of them featured in major races such as the Tour de France. Physical challenge and stunning scenery go hand in hand here.

Mountain biking in the Hautes-Alpes
Mountain bike enthusiasts, get ready: here, MTB offers the very best. You will be spoilt for choice, with French Cycling Federation-labelled MTB areas and the Grande Traversée des Hautes-Alpes, a 350 km route from La Grave to Laragne.
In Gap, the trails are designed to take you far: the Balcons du Gapençais for family rides, the great crossings of the Champsaur valley to open up new horizons, and highly technical tracks on the slopes of Charance for those looking for a real challenge.
